Debbie Ficken

I graduated in 1999 from CNCC and have worked both part-time and full-time at CNCC. I also lived in Alaska, where I worked full-time as a Dental Hygienist from 2006–2011. After moving back to Rangely, CO, I began working full-time at CNCC and became the First-Year Clinic Coordinator in 2014, a role I continue to hold today. I have been teaching full-time since 2011 and part-time from 2002–2006. In my current position, I teach courses such as Preclinical Dental Hygiene, Radiology and Preventive Dentistry, and Community Dental Hygiene. I am passionate about helping students grow and understand what it means to be an exceptional Dental Hygienist. Outside of work, I enjoy visiting family, traveling, fishing, snorkeling, four-wheeling, and spending time outdoors.
