SGA What is SGA? The Student Government Association (SGA) is an organization that provides opportunities for student’s to grow their leadership skills, enhance the college student body’s life, and develop an understanding of democratic government. The SGA composed of students elected by their peers to represent the voice, and the interests of the student body through a variety of activities, and by building relationships with the local and school community. Purpose of SGA

  • Represent the interests of all students attending classes at Colorado Northwestern.
  • Ensure the voices of the students are heard by the college and that student needs are met.
  • Promote higher education and uphold the morale of CNCC.
  • Serve as the liaison between students and the college administration

 

Mission of SGA SGA’s mission is to represent the interests of the students and bring about needed change through working with Colorado Northwestern staff and faculty. SGA’s responsibilities include the following:

  • Funding and operating facilities and activities for students.
  • Engaging students to improve the overall college experience.
  • Enhance the student experience by implementing unique activities and programs.
  • Facilitating the development of student clubs and organizations.
