Summer Dinosaur Digs

Now Accepting Applications for Summer 2021!

While many people only dream of taking part in a dinosaur excavation, through Colorado Northwestern Community College that dream can become a reality. Located in the heart of dinosaur country CNCC offers you the chance to work alongside professional paleontologists to uncover fossils that have been buried for over 74 million years! During a two-week session, you will learn about paleontology by digging, brushing, and uncovering a unique fossilized specimen. There is no experience required to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, only a passion for experiencing fossils up close and personal! Participants also have the option to earn college credit during their two-week session.
