Program Overview
CNCC’s Radiologic Technology Program is designed to prepare students to enter the professional career of medical imaging with confidence. Students will graduate with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology and will then be eligible to take their national or state registry. After obtaining a license, CNCC Radiologic Technology graduates can begin working in the field of Radiography.
Graduates will be able to seek employment across the nation and with a variety of facilities including large trauma hospitals, community hospitals, outpatient clinics, orthopedic clinics and more.
This program is designed to be completed in five semesters which includes a summer semester dedicated to internships. Over the course of the program, students will spend half their time in the classroom setting completing didactic work and the other half of their time at a healthcare organization taking real x-rays on real patients.
CNCC’s Radiologic Technology Program requires students apply and be accepted into the program. Students who are accepted will begin the program in the fall semester. All lectures and labs will be in-person on the Craig campus. Internships sites include several healthcare facilities across Northwestern Colorado.
