Cosmetology (AAS & CERT)

The Cosmetology Program at CNCC is for students who want to learn all aspects of the beauty industry, including skin care, nail care, and hair care in as little as 12 months. Students learn in a high-end, professional salon atmosphere, that is well-used and respected by the community. More than learning just techniques and information, students learn and practice a solid work ethic, robust customer service, and they develop life-long friends with other students. Students can also earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Cosmetology in 2 years. The instructional team is made up of career professionals who take salon training seriously. The Cosmetology Certificate requires 60 credit hours. Serving students for 16 years, the Cosmetology Program offers programs that begin every Fall and Spring. Practical, hands-on training in a professional salon setting including appointment scheduling, money transactions and the basics of operating a salon.

Cosmetology Program Requirements:

The following are requirements for the Cosmetology Program that students need to purchase after they enter the program.

* All dollar amounts are approximate and before tax

Hair Kit: $880.00
Makeup Kit: $150.00
Nail Kit: $275.00
