The CNCC Equine program, the Rodeo team and the Hose Show Team are based at Columbine Park, just two miles from the main campus of the college. The facility is owned by Rio Blanco County and is managed by CNCC personnel. Horses in the Equine Program are stalled at this facility as well as personal horses from the community. CNCC students can stall and ride their own personal horses year round at Columbine Park in the arenas and mile-and-a-half track as well as the thousands of acres of BLM land that adjoin the park.

The facility includes:

  • Seven round pens for turn out and course work
  • Approximately 30 acres
  • Three Arenas
  • 1.5 Mile Track
  • Newly constructed 28-stall barn
  • Outdoor covered stalls
  • Trailer storage
  • Reasonable boarding rates
